Walk
Right Back
The title track "Walk Right Back" smacks of Scottish highland
and is produced by experienced Stig Kreutzfeldt, who has also produced the
rest of the album. In spite of a busy year, the Brothers have managed to
find the time to spend extra care on the material on the album, which they
have been recording since November 2000. It is no secret that there is a
lot to live up to, following the tremendous success of last year, and it
is of great importance to the Olsen Brothers to show that they and their
music can live up to the high expectations and rise up to the challenge,
following "Wings Of Love".
Just
as the Brothers have been inspired throughout their long musical career
by bands as Moody Blues, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young and The Beatles,
Jorgen Olsen likens the music on "Walk Right Back" with desire
that will not die. "The music is like a mistress you keep wanting
for life", he explains. And even though the Olsen Brothers have created
a unique musical universe, the music is simultaneously a tribute to kindred
artists such as Roy Orbison, Elton John, Billy Joel, E.L.O. and Womack
& Womack.
"Walk
Right Back" is crammed with powerful evergreen material and pays
homage to the warm and faithful love for people and music, so characteristic
for the Olsen Brothers. Whereas several successful Danish bands choose
to produce abroad, the brothers have chosen to hold on to their Danish
producer, Stig Kreutzfeldt and the team behind "Wings of Love",
for - as Jorgen wittily puts it, "Never let a winning team down".
The Brothers do not let people down and they will surely not let us down
when they perform "Walk Right Back" at this years Eurovision
Song Contest in 'Parken' and continue a musical tour de force which has
lasted for more than 30 years.
